Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory scene- Analysis

The scene starts with a point of view shot, that shows the reflection of the character, and then there is a medium shot that shows the other characters. At this moment we can see that the place of the scene is fictional and maybe even magical, due to its strange vegetation composed of candy trees and bushes, and even a chocolate river. After that there is a aerial shot that shows the main character falling into the river, and there is a suspense sound effect on the back. Then there is a two shot, focusing on the main character’s mom that is nervous and the factory owner. Then there is a wide shot of the main character while he is being sucked by a tube, and then gets stucked in it . After that there is a sequence of medium shots focusing on the other characters reactions on the event. After that, new characters are introduced in the scene, they are all dwarfs, and all have the same appearance, and they are also wearing a really futuristic cloth, helping the idea of a magical place, and there is a sequence of wide and long shots focusing on these characters. Now there is a joyful sound effect, and the dwarfs start singing. After that there are some medium shots on the first group of characters, showing their reactions on the happening. Now see can see an aerial shot of the dwarfs swimming in the river, and we can also see the boy there is still stuck in the tube.
